Zeichen-Talent Katsu Aki wurde am 19. September 1961 in der japanischen Großstadt Fukuoka geboren. Bereits in jungen Jahren, nämlich schon mit 22, veröffentlichte er sein Erstlingswerk, das den Titel »Mary rarabai« trug und damals im japanischen »Hana to Yume«-Magazin abgedruckt wurde. Den endgültigen Durchbruch stellte dann allerdings etwas später Akis Sieg beim zwölften »Shogakun New Comic« dar, eine Art Nachwuchswettbewerb für aufstrebende Mangaka. Heute hat Katsu Aki bereits etliche Titel gezeichnet und sich einen guten Ruf erarbeitet. Aus der Fülle seiner bisherigen ambitionierten Arbeiten stechen vor allem »Psychic Academy«, das berühmt-berüchtigte Kult-Werk »Visions of Escaflowne« und die aktuelle, überaus erfolgreiche »Manga Love Story« hervor.

Ich mag die ReiheSie hat fitz Schwarm und viel Hintergrund wissen und nach einer Zeit will man doch wissen wie es mit den Figuren in der Geschichte weiter geht

Die Serie hat etwas von ihrem Niveau verloren. Sie ist nicht mehr ganz so gut wie am Anfang der Serie. Trotzdem kann ich sie allen Fans der Serie empfehlen.
